Have you ever noticed that people who worry about inequality seem to be focused only on certain kinds of inequality? When they obsess about the income and wealth of the top 1%, they seem to be bothered by only some of those at the top, and not others.

For example, have you ever seen Robert Reich or Paul Krugman or any like-minded complainer bemoan the huge salaries of professional athletes? What about the stratospheric incomes of rock stars? Or movie idols? Or super models?

Even more puzzling, when is the last time you saw any of them assailing worthless heirs? I would guess that a large share of mega gifts to Barack Obama’s presidential campaign came from “trust fund babies.” These are people who are living (and living well) off the assets created by some deceased capitalist. All too many of the heirs spend a good part of their lives giving personal and foundation money to…well…to promote socialism.

A Message from the President of the Kingwood TEA Party

After Nov. 6: Where We Go from Here

Kingwood TEA Party is more committed than ever to standing for the conservative principles that will allow the United States to excel and prosper once more: constitutionally limited government, fiscal responsibility, and free markets.

Freedom for individuals from state-imposed tyranny is the single-most important principle fought for by our Founding Fathers and gifted to each generation of Americans since that time. It has been the responsibility of each succeeding generation to live by those principles given and to teach their successors to value them as well.

Given the results of our recent election, we have clearly failed in that duty. In no way does that failure mean that we should give up and join the progressives who are working furiously to divide Americans, spend our country into oblivion, and destroy all that has made us exceptional.

For that reason, Kingwood TEA Party will continue to encourage our elected representatives and legislators at both the State and Federal levels to escalate the fight for our principles, clearly stating why they work, and doing everything within their means to stop the progressive policies that will weaken our country economically and militarily. We ask them to fight with us to restore the free market principles that will allow our economy to come roaring back to life. Ending intrusive and unconstitutional regulations and spending at all levels of government by reducing the size and scope of government in Washington, D.C., Austin, and on the local levels is the only way to restore Liberty in America.

Though some programs will need to be grandfathered out, every American citizen must realize that no one has the right to take what they need from another by theft or by government seizure through taxation. No one is entitled to the fruits of another’s hard work. We Americans have always been a generous people as evidenced by the charitable contributions given to those in need. Those who are truly unable to care for themselves will always be taken care of. However, we absolutely must take the education and formation of our future citizens away from the government and give them back to parents and localities.

To fix what is wrong, Kingwood TEA Party will do everything in its power to see Freedom restored and our futures securely placed back in the hands of every American citizen. We will fight strenuously to stop unsustainable spendthrift programs for all comers regardless of their legal status in this country. Reducing our Nation to third world levels of poverty and instability is not the way to help those in other countries to better themselves.

I hope that you will join with me and the Kingwood TEA Party as we ask all of our legislators and elected officials to join with us as we work to regain the legacy of Liberty that our fathers and forefathers paid for with their service, their honor, and their blood.

Pondering the Unbelievable but Increasingly Undeniable Explanations of Events in the Middle East

It is becoming increasingly clear that a Middle Eastern terrorist Fast rand Furious is being played out, with the weapons given to Libyan “freedom fighters” who just happen to be allied with the Muslim Brotherhood and other jihadist terrorist groups, aka our enemies. Though I have MANY questions about the subpar Benghazi compound and the unsafe safe house annex, the only explanation the makes sense about the stand down orders given is that Islamist terrorists were armed and ready to take out any aerial or ground troops sent in to rescue Ambassador Stevens who was purposefully left vulnerable in this region, a tactic particularly employed by these terrorists. This is particularly troubling in light of Pres. Obama’s revelation of details re the Navy Seals Special Ops heroes who have been Outed and targeted in the region. “Obama, we are all Osamas!”

Ambassador Steven’s whereabouts were obviously known when he was on a sensitive, unauthorized, illegal, and unconstitutional mission to find missing American weapons to give them to the Syrians to arm more of our enemies to remove another country’s leaders. The treatment he received, sodomization and obvious torture seen in pictures combined with the long period he was missing also leads one to believe that this Representative of the U.S. in Libya may have been tortured and killed in an effort to lure our troops into a doomed rescue attempt.

We know there were moles on location in Benghazi–State Dept. had hired a group allied with the terrorists to PROTECT them! Combined, all of these circumstances strongly indicate that we have moles in place in the Middle East as well in important places in Washington, including the Depts. of State and Justice. All the evidence indicates that the terrorists have the upper hand and we are at their mercy. This is not acceptable.

Allegations of Muslim terrorist infiltration into our government have already been brought to national attention by Rep. Michele Bachmann’s and five other Representatives. These allegations are damning in light of the 9/11/12 events in Benghazi and across the Middle East.

All of this is currently unsubstantiated as far as the public can tell of course, but emphasizes the necessity of thorough investigations totally removed from the Executive Branch, including the President, State Dept., and Dept. of Justice. Steps should be taken to close down all funding and authority of these portions of the Executive branch and all those entities so affected in our government immediately while the investigation takes place. Our national security and the lives of our men and women in the Military and representatives in the middle East depend on it.

Are we going to go quietly into the night without a whimper?
