Mayor Parker rescinded the subpoenas, but afterward was overheard to say,

“I’m not going to let the Citizens of Houston vote on MY civil rights!!!”

But what about the civil rights of the the other 95+% of Houston’s citizens???

On November 2, people from across the nation will gather at Grace Community Church in Houston, Texas, to stand with the Houston 5. The church is the home of Pastor Steve Riggle, one of the Houston 5.

Special guest speakers will include the following:

  • Phil and Alan Robertson from Duck Dynasty,
  • Mike Huckabee, and
  • ADF’s own Erik Stanley among many others.

1. Kindly remind them that as Citizens of Houston, it is OUR right to vote on the Houston Equal Rights Ordinance. 

2. Women and children have the right to enter a Houston restroom or locker room without worrying about sexual predators who might take advantage of HERO to prey on vulnerable women and children. Yes, it has happened in other areas that adopted similar ordinances.
